{5} Months

My Sullybear is 5 months old already.  I cannot believe it!

5 month LOVES:
to chew his toes, smile, roll over,
to eat squash, sweet potato, carrots, applesauce and bananas,
to sleep with a blankie close to his face or covering his face,
to watch football in daddy's lap,
sleep all curled up on your chest,
sleep ALL night,
stand in his Johnny Jump Up,
and to smile and giggle and make mommy's heart melt!

Aubrey is 3!

I call her my baby although she now is the middle child.  Silly little Aubi turned 3 and had a wonderful party with her buddies and some family.

She is obsessed with Rapunzel!!

Aubrey with her best friends, Peyton and Addey.  I call them the 3 Musketeers.  I think at age 3, they can pretty much conquer whatever they want together.  They are precious!!

My FIRST GRADER!
Molly is loving school and learning so much.

My TINY DANCER!
Aubrey started taking dance classes and she loves it.....she still doesn't understand why she can only go one day a week.

I thought I posted this already...whoops!  I'll share now, a month and a half later! :)

Aug 15th
Well, the boy wonder is now 9 weeks old! Absolutelygrowingwaytoofast.
For the past 8 nights, he has slept through the night. From 8:30-9pm to 7:30-8am. I am SO proud of him!! Greg thinks I'm crazy because I told him I missed getting up with Sullivan in the middle of the night...my explanation........At first I was soo ready for him to sleep all night, but now that I am back at work, his mid-night feedings were the only time I had alone with him. In his nursery, just his sweet little face looking up at me and occasionally teasing me with a smile. So sweet!

Summer break is coming to an end, Molly returns to school as a 1st grader tomorrow. She is really excited! The summer flew by, as they all seem to, but we have had a great one. I was fortunate to be home most of the summer on maternity leave. While we have missed the lake SO much, we have managed to take the girls swimming a lot. We have been to the movies quite abit too. We've gone to the OKC Zoo, gone bowling, etc. We even managed to take a long weekend trip to Dallas. We visited the Dallas World Aquarium, LegoLand, The American Girl store, and did some other fun things. It was nice to get away, and Sullivan was an absolute angel on his first road trip.

Cherishing Time

                                                                  Sullivan & I

It's that time already.  My lil' Sully Jo is 6 weeks old....meaning it's time for me to go back to work.  Not that being home hasn't been plenty of work.  It most certainly has!  I miss my nights of uninterrupted sleep so, so badly.  And I wish breastfeeding had gone better for me, because honestly, I'm tired of hand washing bottles right now.  Six weeks.  I knew it would fly by and that seems to even be an understatement.  Three kiddos are work.  Lots of it.  Exhausting.  And worth every ache my body endures.
A year ago, if you would've asked me if Greg and I were going to have any more babies, my answer would've been, "No way Jose!"  But after lots of thinking and praying, I gave in to my baby loving hubby, and we decided we'd try for a third, Lord willing.  And now I have a son.  I still can't get used to saying that. I soooo love it too. *Giddy*  He is the perfect conclusion to our family.  Our 5 pack.....the reason I now drive a mini-van.  By the way, it's so practical that I, the mom who swore she'd never be caught dead driving one, suddenly wonders why we didn't have one sooner!  It offers so much and is more than handy.  What other family car has doors that open/close at the push of a button?!  The girls think it is just the coolest.  Aubi sometimes calls it the mini-van, but mostly she calls it our mini-car.  Why do they have to have such a sour name like mini-van...why can't they call them something like the handy-car instead?  Yes- the "momvan" is great.
Back to Sullivan, his sisters are so good to him.  He is spoiled by us all.  My time at home has been a little trying but mostly amazing.  I am thankful for it.  Everything about this lil' guy right now just melts me. The way he smells. When he's having a bottle and he just can't seem to finish it fast enough and the noises he makes because of it.  The moans and groans.  The faces he makes while I hold him in my arms and watch him sleep, pouty lips, then giggles, then grins, then sad little cries that last a second but still break my heart.  His crazy hair.  His lips smacking.  In the middle of the night, when all is quiet in the house and the only light is the soft glow from his neon blue clock, toward the end of the bottle he appears to be "milk drunk" as my sister calls it...and as I rock him I'll put him on my shoulder for one last burp before I lay him back down but he's already dozed off and all the weight in his head and neck seems to only be in his sweet suddenly chubby cheeks as they lay pressed against my shoulder...priceless!  So grateful for these many joys.
He is starting to recognize me.  He occasionally smiles at me when I coo back at him.  The first time he smiled and cooed at me I had tears running down my face.  Already communicating.  Trying to cherish all these things and finding myself constantly pausing for mental pictures to store in my head.
Not really worried about my first day tomorrow...other than waking up on time.  Back to work and going to make the most of it.

Introducing Our Son

We have stacked up once more, and let me tell ya, I'm still getting used to saying "son" after having 2 sweet daughters.  It's always been "the girls", so now Greg & I are both adjusting to referring to our children as "the kiddos".  My sweet lil family is now full with the 5 of us!!!

Sullivan Joseph made his arrival on June 10th, weighing 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20 1/2 in. long.

He is wonderfully perfect.  He is 3 weeks old today and we just cannot get enough of him.  I must add that Molly & Aubi both make fabulous little mommas.  They ask to help with him all the time.  He has already been such a blessing to us.  Such a sweet little miracle.  Enough babble, I'll finally share some pics.  He's snoozing right now, so I guess I should try to get some shut eye too.

My Lil' Grad!

It's official!  My Molly Bug graduated Kindergarten.  What a sweet little ceremony it was too!

And of course she wanted to throw her cap up like she'd seen on TV.

And she used her diploma as a microphone.  Class Clown?  Most Creative maybe?

Molly with her Principal

Family pic!  Aubi is so proud of big sissy!!

My beauty queen and her teacher.  She has LOVED kindergarten.

Pretty girls!  Is it just me or are they smiling just alike?

Poppy & Mimi congratulating the grad

So proud of our Molly!!  Growing up too quickly, so bright and her kind heart constantly amazes me.

Next stop, FIRST GRADE!!

What Now is 2...

My beautiful girls!  Hard to believe in just about 4 weeks they are going to have a little brother.  I remember when Molly was 3 and we were expecting Aubrey, I had no idea how she'd truly feel about a little sister.  I couldn't even dream of how close they already are and how sweet they are with each other.  All the "'kissies" just make me melt.  At this point I can't imagine another kiddo joining them, but I know that in no time at all, they will welcome him in their arms and not long after that he'll be following them around in adoration.  We will look back and it will be hard to remember when it was just 2.

Can't wait for all the changes a 3rd brings.
