Fall on Autumn Lane...

I could just be favoring it, but I do believe our street name is the BEST in town!
If you've read my last post, you'll notice Molly's in the same clothes that she wore on her field trip...I guess you can say we just did not get enough of this fabulous Fall weather we've been blessed with!  We continued on in the evening outdoors!
My Molly Moo is getting so big!  She is one beautiful, funny, kind hearted little girl.
My little Aubi Aub, growing way too fast.  She's the ornery one, and very sassy...but oh so lovable!
I believe sisters share a bond from the get go.  Watching these two interact is just priceless.
Their faces say it all...another fun day on Autumn Lane.

Field Trip Fun!

This past week I was lucky enough to get to join Molly on her first field trip!  She was most excited to get to ride the bus!
We went to the local Pumpkin Patch for story time, a game of tag with friends, apple juice and of course a souvenir pumpkin.
 My happy sunshine girl!
After the Pumpkin Patch they all shuffled back on the bus and headed to a nearby park to run wild.
Molly and her wonderful teacher, Mrs. Schooler
They were even lucky enough to have a pizza picnic lunch!
I really enjoyed getting to know some of the other mommies, and it was nice putting faces to names with kids Molly comes home talking about.  I've got to be honest though, all these little munchkins wore me smooth out!  I had so much fun and can almost bet every kiddo there did too!

One Sock Wonder...

A few months ago, you couldn't keep socks on Aubrey if you were payed to.
And suddenly, she loves socks AND shoes...but mostly socks.

She will search high (as high as a 13 month old can look) and low for a sock...it's the funniest thing!

Once she finds one, she will bring it to me or daddy, grunt a little, then plop down in front of us and stick her foot in the air.

No need for a pair, she's quite content with just one.

Yum Yum Eat It Up...

There is nothing better than coming home from work and having dinner practically waiting on you!  I don't use it often enough, but my crock pot rocks!  This picture just doesn't do this meal justice....I tried neatly slicing this pork roast but it was so tender it just crumbled.  Pork roast and carrots, and my family gobbled it up!  Before leaving for work this a.m. I stuck the roast in the crock pot, then stirred up some bbq sauce, soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, and a little pepper....and poured it over the roast.  Crock pot was on low for a good 7 hours, then came home, turned it to high and added some baby carrots and let it warm up for another 30 minutes.
The best part, clean up was a snap!

Feeling Like Fall...

My favorite time of year!  We've shut the gate on another wonderful summer that was filled with sunny lake days, pool parties, bright pedicures (tie dye zebra!) and snowcones.  But Fall! Oh how I welcome sweaters and scarves, boots, football season, pumpkin spice recipes, hayrides, and bonfires.  Speaking of bonfires, we attended our first of the season this weekend.  It was a fun-filled sunny afternoon and ended with marshmallows on the fire, (I prefer mine burnt) and spooky rides through the pasture.  It was great to kick back and spend time with family that I have really been missing.  A great time was had by all...just ask my girls, they played so hard that they slept in until 10 this Sunday morning!

My little sunshine girl, Aubrey Jane!

My big sunshine girl Molly Faye, with her cousins Olivia & Alli, enjoying hotdogs and nachos.

Hey Aubi, do you know where mommy's chocolate chip cookie went? :)

We think she may be part bat, loves to hang upside down!
